 Canyon Studios is distinctly unique.  It is a private studio with classrooms dedicated to specific areas of the Arts where known artists from across the globe provide individualized lessons to a limited number of students, ranging from budding artists, to those looking to hone their skills, and to those who are perfecting their craft. 

Current areas of instruction include Woodturning, Warm Glass, and a combination of the two.  Soon to be added are Painting, Drawing, Ceramics, Jewelry, Woodworking, and Woodcarving. 

Canyon Studios is located in North Texas just minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet secluded in the serene and rural countryside just 30 minutes from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.  Lodging is available at nearby hotels and lunch is catered by local eateries.

Classes are offered for two, three, or five-day periods.   Class size is limited to five students so individuals get quality individual attention. The professional instructors enjoy getting to know you; with the intimate class size, they really have the opportunity to understand your individual needs.

The Library and Gallery give you a place to learn and to see the art from the Instructors. Enjoy a comprehensive Library of informative Books, DVDs, and Magazines. Artwork from the instructors is also for sale.

Participating Partners are wonderful to help support the Arts and our School. We thank each of them and ask that you support them with future purchases. Canyon Studios is not a retail store, so most of the supplies needed for each class may be purchased at a discount from our Participating Partners.
